About me

Welcome to my page of movement, training and health development.

My name is Mathias Kostelecky, I’m a personal trainer, class instructor and psychomotor therapist. I have a background in martial arts, calisthenics and functional training. Over the years I’ve spend a lot of time on training and exploring other training disciplines and movement styles. Today I find a huge value in the variety of movement and using different methods to learning new and challenging things.


My work

My current work mainly consists of personal training, and classes of different characteristics. This involves CrossFit & functional training, gymnastics skills & strength, along with mobility & injury prevention. I have great passion for the exploratory and playful part of moving together, making training a nice and fulfilling experience. I have an eye for detail and the difference between qualities of movement and like to mix those into my work and in my own practice.

Personalised individual training designed exactly for your goals, interests and needs. Have a coach on your side along your journey of fitness and health development. 

In depth Classes

A few times a year I’ll be providing some in depth classes with select focus areas. These classes might be focusing on functional movements, gymnastic skills or something completely third. The classes are in general open for anyone to join without any pre-required experience, unless described in the sign up.

Small Group training

This service is for anyone who wants to share their training experience (and the price) with family members or friends. The program and sessions will be designed towards a mutual goal or interest among the group of your choosing. The sessions will include a personal training program, adjusted for each individual in the group.

Online programing

This service provides you an online program designed personaly for your goals. When using this service of online guidance, complexity of movements can be limited. 

Current classes

Handstand

This class focuses on learning the skill of holding a freestanding and walking handstand. We will work on elements such as strength, mobility, technique and body-awareness. We will spend time in foundational pushing strength along with learning the kipping handstand pushup. With a stronger foundation and understanding of being inverted, we will work on the mechanics and techinque of both a freestanding and walking handstand. Together we will create a comfortable environment for everyone to work in their own pace with time for question and in depth work. Additionally we will finish each session with an intense strength training or playful team workout.

Training days and times: Mondays at 7-8 & Fridays at 17-18

Bar Muscle up

In this class we will focus on the skill of performing a bar muscle up accompanied by practicing pullups of various types. 

We will work on building a strong foundation of pulling strength, grip endurance, kipping technique progressed into bar muscle up drills. 

Regular kipping pullups/chest to bar pullups will be included since these cary the foundational movements. Mobility and stability training will be included to help everyone progress consistently and injury free. Even though you have never attempted to, or still feel you are farm from getting your first bar muscle up, there are valuable drills and processes to learn in this class. There will be many different progressions, for everyone to work in their own pace with time for question and in depth work. Additionally we will finish each session with an endurance or playful team workout.

Note that the focus areas is merely the orientation of the classes. We focus on specific skills that we aim to learn, improve or simply progress towards understanding and approaching. Therefore there is no pre-required level to participate. In addition the classes will involve a variety of options and progressions so that each individual can work and participate on their own level.
